The first sonnet: Retrieval
⭐He picked me up today
From the dingy corner I lay
He took me up and dusted me
Removed the stains that assaulted me
⭐And I had thought I was forgotten
Cast away as something rotten
Left with just a little scribbling
Making no point, lacking meaning
⭐He looked at me and saw how bad
I was, but remained glad
For he beheld a bended*
And rough and tattered me
Still he set to get me mended
For he was the one that started me....
