Who is this Wonder

Have you ever stopped to wonder,
have you ever stood to ponder
Have you ever sat to think,
who made the water that you drink,
created the ground on which you walk,
and gave you that voice to talk

Who made that bright beautiful moon,
and the sun that shines at noon
Who in wisdom that no one sees,
created those plants and trees
Who made the tall great mountains,
and the clear flowing fountains


Who made the birds of the air,
and the lions and tigers in their lair
Who made the fishes of the sea,
and the sky that we all see
Who made the cattle and sheep,
and causes us to rise from sleep

Who made us all, black and white,
and created both day and night
Who created us from head to toe,
and makes all things to grow
Who gave us these gifted hands,
and created for us our fertile lands

Who, at just a command,
created fire, water, air and sand
Who, in ways hard to understand,
makes everything to go well planned
Who do we owe this praise,
who else but the ancient of days.
